Canvas stretchingASA can stretch all types of artwork on canvas including oil paintings, acrylic paintings and photographic printed canvases. Care and consideration is given to the style and depth of the support frame: Cedar stretchers with corner keys can be custom made to any size, as can pine strainers with aluminium barrier-taped edges to avoid acid migration and ensure the longevity of the stretched artwork. The canvas is stretched to the frame support using stainless steel rust-free staples. If desired, an additional frame can provide the option of using glazing in front of the painting for ultimate protection. When framing stretched canvases, a Polypropylene backing board is fitted to the back of the frame to protect the canvas from impact, dust and insects. |
